Wedding Galore

So the past couple of months have been a whirl and Tim and I have had our fair share of weddings this spring. I always look forward to weddings with anticipation of the couples' excitement and adventure for their new stage of life. To kick off the wedding season, Kim Crawford my former roommate got married at Montecito Covenant church with her reception at Padaro Grill right by the beach, the wedding was beautiful and it was fun to be with new friends. Next was Carolyn Dueck's wedding, my other former roommate! Liam and she got married at the Santa Barbara Zoo which was a blast. They had a live cover band called Senior Year which brought the dancing all night long! Next was Tim's friend Shady, he is Egyptian and he married Erin who is Mennonite so the ceremony was in Arabic with Mennonite influences -- quite interesting! There was belly dancing and Tim's friend Moudy busted out the drum and played for us while we all danced. At the beginning of the year Carlos and Lauren got married which are dear friends of Tim and me. They dated the same time as we did and we quickly became friends with them and now I can't picture our lives without them. Their wedding was at our church Santa Barbara Community Church and the reception was at the Maritime Museum down by the water! We have two more weddings this year, a co-worker of mine and Loren Bass and Carly. Whew, when it rains it pours!
